Your massage will
be given by a licensed therapist with extensive training
which includes several types of massage, basic anatomy and physiology, and
knowledge of those conditions for which massage is not appropriate. Your massage
therapist will begin by asking for some general health information. Please
keep your massage therapist informed as to your current medical condition
so that they may best meet your specific needs. For a full body massage you
may disrobe to your comfort level. Except for the area being worked on, you
will be completely covered at all times.

Rest and rejuvenate during this
full body massage. We will soothe the
body, mind, and spirit through traditional Swedish techniques utilizing
long, smooth gliding strokes and kneading of superficial muscles.
This massage calms the nervous system, reduces stress and creates an
overall sense of well-being.
Used for specific injury rehab
to stop the pain-spasm-pain cycle.
Appropriate for chronic pain, as well as maintenance to prevent
physical injuries. Increases flexibility, decreases muscle tension, and
ultimately reduces pain.
Myofascial therapy is employed
to coax muscles in spasm to relax.
Chronically tense muscles restrict blood flow and fatigue the body.
By applying gentle pressure to connective tissues or fascia, normal
alignment and function can be restored and chronic pain eliminated.
Myofascial therapy can treat neck and back pain, headaches and
recurring sports injuries, among other conditions.
